Welcome

EFL2Korea has been providing consultancy services to the English teaching market in Korea since 2003. Working with both graduates seeking teaching positions in Korea and our partners in Korea and beyond we have gained invaluable local knowledge and experience and have recently expanded our services with representatives in Australia, North America, Europe and Korea itself.

Within the last 30 years Korea has gone through a period of rapid economic growth with companies such as Daewoo, Hyundai and Samsung all household names in the west. The need for Korean students to be competent in English for school exams and the increased job opportunities for graduates proficient in English has created a massive demand for English speakers and consequently English teachers.

The rewards available to English teachers are equally attractive. The wages and benefits for ESL/EFL jobs are some of the best in the world and little or no experience is required.

For many, travelling to South Korea will be their first time in Asia and teaching in Korea not only provides the opportunity to experience an amazing culture but also to earn and save money. Compared to wages at home, the wages on offer wouldn't look too attractive, however with the low cost of living, free housing and airfares and the low tax rate, it is possible for English teachers to save up to 40% of their monthly wage. China, Japan and the Philippines are all within travelling distance and many teachers try to spend their vacations there or travelling throughout South Korea.

Please take a moment to look around our website to get a greater feel for what's on offer in Korea. Our FAQ page should be able to answer most of the questions you have.
